Whether you read this book all the way through or read it in sections, you will find yourself looking at politics–and life in general–from an entirely new perspective. The most human of perspectives, for it looks at life and politics from the perspective of our hearts and our minds. CombineĀ  this with your current perspectives, and you should feel enriched. We at PsychePolitics.com hope you do.

We encourage you to follow along with the blog and videos on YouTube and elsewhere. After a while, you’ll feel comfortable enough in this perspective and its lingo to contribute.

To contribute, just Comment on an article (post). Here are the three basic ways:

1. Just make a regular comment. Short and sweet–or bitter. But short!

2. Write 150 or so words, focused on that article, but bringing in other issues and other thoughts. We’ll call it a Letter To The Editor. You can entitle it that yourself, if you like. We’ll use your name, if you like. Otherwise, we’ll use whatever identification you like.

3. Write about 500 words about any topic about psychology and politics. Don’t worry about confining it to the article/post at hand. It can and should be a separate piece, your piece. You can entitle it and label it Op-Ed Piece or Op-Ed Article. If you forget, we’ll add that. It will appear as an article/post, but the words Op-Ed will appear in the title. E.g. The Republicans are Acting Like. . . (Op-Ed Article).

We’ll use your name, if you include it. Otherwise, we’ll use your email or whatever you like. The whole purpose of this is to get it right. That is, Dr. Lurie has proposed this approach, but the devil is in the details. If you disagree with something he said and think it should be expressed differently, eliminated, enhanced, or whatever, be an angel and say so, thus adding to the political discussion. This is a work in progress, and we hope your contributions will move us toward getting it right.

So, thank you in advance for participating.
